Those of you in southern Alberta this weekend might want to check out Taber’s EcoFair – a family orientated event for learning about sustainable practices and technology. Everything takes place at the large ice arena on Saturday, May 2 from 10am – 5pm. Best part? It’s free!
Second best part? This video:
The KidZone will feature mini solar car races, performances, and games. For adults there will be displays on energy – efficient housing, water conservation, micro-generation, and more. A highlight will be the University of Calgary Solar Powered Car.
At the risk of sounding like my dad, it looks both fun and educational.
