In February 2009, the City of Wetaskiwin began its sustainability plan, Wetaskiwin Tomorrow. Over the next two years, Wetaskiwin experienced the largest consultation in the City’s history. Now its up to all of us. Wetaskiwin is an amazing place, with even better potential. To reach that potential involves knowing where we want to go and then working towards that vision together. This website is our attempt at such a vision.

I’m 14. I love Wetaskiwin.I have shared some of my best memories here.I’ve Been here my whole life.I think we need some more stores like West 49, so that we don’t need to travel to Edmonton to get clothes. We need popular things that w know will draw people from other parts of Canada, to Wetaskiwin as they are traveling or planning on moving. Wetaskiwin needs to be “Awesome!” Even if this needs to take time to develope, its worth it in the end.

P.S Put some nice, colorful stores on main street, it wil truely help brighten up the town. Make it look attractive.
