Excellent article in the Wetaskiwin Times-Advertiser today about the plan and our draft goals:
“We need to work together to find our identity, see what’s going to make us a great community. What’s going to separate us (from other communities), said Warren.
He’s heard people talk about Camrose and Leduc, but what is it that will make people talk about Wetaskiwin?
Warren explained homegrown initiatives – like Live Local Wetaskiwin & County, the Wetaskiwin & District Chamber of Commerce, and Communities in Bloom Wetaskiwin, are a step in the right direction towards the community creating something unique.
