If you enter from Wetaskiwin via any of the main highways, your first introduction to the community is car dealerships, box stores, concrete...   
 
Personally, I think 50 ave is quite cute and attractive, but it&#039;s off the beaten path a little.  Think of the last holiday you took...what are the communities you remember?  Probably, a quaint town with character buildings, funky shops and caf&#233;s, statues...   
 
I think your idea of not &quot;penalizing people through taxes&quot; who renovate and take care of their homes is a good one... 
 
Finally, I like your comment about needing a real caf&#233;...timmies is great and afforadable, but it&#039;s fast food and it&#039;s boring.  If one of my friends comes to visit from Edmonton and I want to take them out for coffee...Timmies is no big thrill.   If anyone has been to Kavvacinos in Lacombe, that&#039;s the kind of place I mean-unique, independently-owned, character, healthy food choices, great coffee... we need a place like that here.   </description>
