As a small business owner, it is hard to find employees

20 November 2009 2 Comments

As a small business owner, it is hard to find employees. If we had better shopping, restaurants, entertainment, we could entice more people here & sustain the shops, restaurants etc. More housing would be needed, more families would supply more workers. It has to start with bringing more people here. We have the room to grow don’t we?

I disagree with your comment. It may be hard to find qualified people to work, but the last help wanted ad I had a many people that replied.

The problem is that the economy here for the most part is stable. No one really needs employees, and no one really needs jobs. Over the past two years, I have gone through many jobs here, due to a lack of work. Most of my previous jobs here have been part time, with 20 hours of work a week at best. I had to work out in edmonton to get full time employment.
