Wetaskiwin Tomorrow

i have read everything that has been posted here. i agree and feel the same as a lot of people in this town.

i was born here in the sixties and this town has been home. i am glad everyone is taking the time to type what is on there mind. but what is a concerne here is, if the people on city councel that can do something about the concerns of the taxpayers do not read these blogs as i have, they will not even know that folks in this town are upset and are worried about what has, or in this case, has not happened to wetaskiwin in the last 10, 20, 30 years.

the comments must be heard for change to occur. please go to city councel meetings and demand that your voice and ideas be heard. it is your right as a member of wetaskiwin’s collective. we could use a mayor ( a leader ) with a vision for the future and a fresh councel to help him or her achieve what it seems everyone is wanting here. that is for wetaskiwin to become a better place to call home. that it seems so many of us desperately want.

if we could have a town with shopping and residential and rec facilities like leduc for example, we would increase our population by thousands and be much more proud of our city, our home. we are all in this together, the future is now.
