Draft Goals Online – Have your say

18 January 2010 One Comment

Over the last year we have been listening to what you’ve had to say about the City of Wetaskiwin – what you like and what you don’t. Based on what we’ve heard, the Wetaskiwin Tomorrow Committee, has released the first draft of proposed goals for the City.

Have we got it right? What are we missing. Have a look and let us know.

The goals will make up the Wetaskiwin Tomorrow Plan, proposed to be the long-term vision for the community — creating a healthy, sustainable city that is adaptable and ready for the future.

We need to hear from you

To be successful the entire community must contribute to the plan. Groups, associations, businesses and individuals are encouraged to read the plan and identify areas and specific goals they can get involved and help make a difference.

Now, you will be able to read the proposed goals and the steps we think need to be taken to reach them. More importantly, you are able to comment on each goal, step and question listed in the Wetaskiwin Tomorrow Plan.

As with all feedback, please be specific and respectful of other commenters. If you have any questions, concerns or need help using this online tool. Please contact Lucas Warren at 780-361-4416 or by email atspeakup@wetaskiwintomorrow.ca.

I cannot wait for the electoral race to get rid of these members of council.. articles in the times have read back ten years wanting someone in office that will do what has to be done to make this place a thriving community. These current members are stifling this place. I am staying in Wetaskiwin just to see what they screw up next for a good laugh.
