The 2010 spring free haul period for Wetaskiwin City residents only will be Saturday, May 15th until Saturday, May 22nd.
Landfill hours will be extended during this time – Saturday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m (CLOSED Sunday, May 16th).
Items that WILL NOT be accepted free of charge are:
- Appliances containing freon/refrigerant.
- Building, deck and fence demolition.
It is the owner’s responsibility to take their discarded household items and garbage to the landfill. Loads must be tarped and secured. The City will be picking up branches ONLY. The branches must be no longer than 4′ in length and must be bundled and placed in the alley.
Regular garbage will be picked up as usual on the front of the street.
