The City of Wetaskiwin’s Staff Appreciation BBQ was held August 11, and employees were served their choice of burgers, ribs, sausage and mussels by Wetaskiwin’s Aldermen.
The BBQ is appreciated not only for it’s tasty cuisine, but also for its networking opportunities. Since the City operates out of three separate buildings, employees usually communicate through electronic means. The value of this personal face time cannot be underestimated, as it reinforces a team atmosphere for the staff.
