“What is good about Wetaskiwin is it being twinned with Ashoro city in Japan. This association led to the creation of Ashoro Friendship Park as well as student exchange programs.
When bored/drunk/whatever people destroy and vandalize this park all it really shows is that we as a community do not have enough maturity or caring to be able to have something like this This is a sad staement about our city.
We need more pride in our community and something for the townfolk to rally around!”

“My favourite part of Wetaskiwin is the silence in some parts of the community. I am fortunate as the area of Wetaskiwin that I live in has no noise other than the occasional sound of kids playing or a dog barking. I have lived in Edmonton and heard sirens, car doors slamming, air traffic and general noise pollution all day and night.”
