Wetaskiwin Tomorrow

Linsday Blackett, Minister of Culture and Community Spirit, stopped by City Hall this morning to present the City of Wetaskiwin with a cheque for $3.4 million to help with the construction of a new acquatic centre.

From May 20th to May 22nd, 2009, Cochrane will play host to over 35 municipalities from all corners of the province for a lively, interactive conference that promises hands-on experience with municipal sustainability planning.

Taber’s EcoFair — a family orientated event for learning about sustainable practices and technology. Everything takes place at the large ice arena on Saturday, May 2 from 10am – 5pm.
