Session 3 says:
Promoting recycling is important enough to be its own ‘big’ goal.
Divided the goals for a sustainable city in five headings:
1. Arts & Culture
2. Community Engagement
3. Community Ownership
4. Economic Development
5. Future Sustainability
This is very important; the impression that people have when they first get into the City. We need to improve the welcome signs as well as the community bulletin boards.

We need to add a goal somewhere that promotes community and individual ownership.

We need to get people to stop complaining so much and actually doing something to benefit the community.
This is very important — some nice, new signs along with a rethinking (or maintenance) of the community bulletin boards.
As a goal this is too vague – who does it include? our actual next door neighbours? Millet? the County? Hobbema?
This is too vague. It should be rephrased to say “Give businesses and residents a reason to be ambassadors for Wetaskiwin”.

This can’t be just left to City Hall – it needs to involved *all* residents of Wetaskiwin
It is important to promote the festivals and activities that we already have in the City.
